Barnao Property is a full-service, property advisory practice, assisting corporations and individuals in optimising their Western Australian property assets for over 40 years. We manage over 1,500 hectares of commercial, industrial and residential englobo development land, located in both infill and metropolitan expansion areas of Perth.

Nicole Barnao
Executive Director
Nicole Barnao joined Barnao Property in 2011. Since then she has advised on a wide range of property matters including acquisitions, scheme amendments, structure planning, subdivisions, development applications, building projects, sales, leasing and asset management. She brings deep expertise in funding solutions and financial control to every project.
Nicole has over 20 years’ experience working in property and financial services, assisting listed, private and not-for profit businesses in growth, innovation and renewal. She is skilled in leading diverse and high-performing teams to achieve superior outcomes for clients, through good economic times and more challenging ones.
Nicole is a board member with Identity WA and has a Bachelor of Science (UWA), an MBA (Australian Graduate School of Management) and is a licenced sales representative.
Nicole grew up in Perth and worked in London and Sydney before returning to Perth. Outside of work Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, travelling, camping and watching live sport.
David Barnao
Non-Executive Director
David Barnao has practiced in the property sector since 1970, commencing his journey as a valuer, progressing into sales and leasing, and opening his own advisory practice in 1975.
For over 45 years David has advised on a wide-ranging spectrum of englobo, commercial and industrial projects, across all stages of the property lifecycle and under wide-ranging economic conditions.
He has negotiated the acquisition of many large development parcels, and coordinated the numerous approvals necessary to advance planning improvements, subdivision and disposal.
David has held several board positions throughout his career. He has acted as an expert witness in providing evidence at numerous arbitrations, determinations and court hearings.
David is a West Coast Eagles and Western Force member. He lives in Perth with his wife Ros and enjoys travelling and spending time with his grandchildren.
